Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of documented restaurant P&L management experience
- 5 to 7 years overall experience in restaurant operations
- Ability to work varied and rotating schedules including opening and closing shifts
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to comprehend and execute company policies and procedures
- Capable of understanding menus, brand standards, and training requirements
- Must comply with federal, state, and local safety and health regulations
- Effective interpersonal skills and leadership presence
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience managing QSR or similar restaurant operations with P&L responsibility
- Demonstrated team management and delegation skills
- Knowledge of HMSHost policies, products, and operational standards or ability to learn promptly
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Graduation from Food Service Management or Culinary program is beneficial
- Experience working with diverse teams and fostering inclusive workplace culture
- Proficiency with management information systems such as MIV, Crunch Time, Kronos
- Ability to multi-task and manage concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Open and close the restaurant ensuring checklists are completed
- Deploy staff and resources to maximize profitability and cover all shifts
- Interview, hire, and manage restaurant staff including onboarding and compliance
- Read and analyze financial and operational data to drive business goals
- Manage product availability, inventory, receiving, and vendor communications
- Maintain restaurant equipment and manage repairs and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation standards
- Conduct training and support employee development and engagement
- Implement marketing programs and promote brand standards
- Resolve customer and associate issues using discretion and judgment
