Job Requirements
- Documented skills managing quick service or similar restaurants with demonstrated success
- minimum of three years P&L responsibility
- five to seven years total restaurant industry experience
- ability to work varied and rotating schedules including weekends and holidays
- strong leadership and delegation skills
- able to understand and enforce health and safety regulations
- capable of effective communication with employees and customers
- willingness to learn company policies and technology platforms
- able to work in a fast-paced customer service environment
- ability to make staffing decisions including hiring and termination
- capable of training new managers and associates
- must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English
- high school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of three years managing restaurants with P&L responsibility
- five to seven years overall restaurant experience
- graduation from a food service management or culinary program preferred
- demonstrated leadership, delegation, and issue resolution skills
- knowledge of company policies, product standards, service quality, equipment, and operational standards
- ability to read, comprehend and apply instructions, correspondence, and brand standards
- strong communication and team management skills
- capability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- familiarity with management information systems such as MIV, Crunch Time, and Kronos
Job Duties
- Open and close the restaurant ensuring all checklists and requirements are met
- deploy staff and resources efficiently while holding shift managers accountable
- provide coaching, support and encouragement to restaurant staff
- conduct hiring, termination, advancement, and promotion decisions
- ensure compliance with company diversity and inclusion policies
- manage inventory, vendor communication, and product availability
- monitor and maintain restaurant equipment and coordinate repairs
- interpret financial and operational reports to guide restaurant performance
- implement marketing programs and promotional activities
- enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards
- train managers and associates on wellness protocols and COVID-19 requirements
- recognize and reward staff contributions and performance
- maintain accurate employee contact information
- manage day-to-day operations and resolve customer and employee issues
- develop and execute plans to motivate staff and drive revenue growth
- participate in audits and food donation programs
- embrace and implement new technologies and brand standards
