Cape Ann Marina is a family-owned and operated marina established in 1972, dedicated to catering to the needs of travelers arriving by land or sea. Nestled in a scenic coastal location, the marina boasts over 265 boat slips and offers a comprehensive range of amenities ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional year-round experience. Job Requirements

  • 8-10+ years' experience in hospitality management and leadership
  • strong food and beverage experience including leading or managing dining concepts
  • experience in spirits, wines, and crafted cocktails
  • experience in fine dining and high-level service experience a plus
  • degree in Business Management or related field preferred
  • degree in Hospitality Management an extra plus
  • previous management experience of 2 or more direct reports required
  • strong budget and finance skills
  • ability to produce finance reports, budgets, and communicate fiscal information
  • superior communication skills
  • strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • ability to share direction and guidance with all employees
  • responsible for overseeing contracted onsite contractors or vendors with Property Manager and Owners

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Management or related field preferred
  • degree in Hospitality Management an extra plus

Job Duties

  • Managing the overall operations of hospitality
  • developing and implementing strategies that meet the needs of owners, the guests, the community, and associates
  • creating and executing the culture of the property
  • facilitating culture and brand discussions and developing outstanding practices
  • serving as a creative thinker to introduce new ideas to increase revenue
  • ensuring consistent, high-quality service standards through effective training and feedback
  • teaching direct hires in hiring, training, motivating, and communication
  • ensuring the property’s compliance with laws and regulations
  • responsible for hospitality purchasing and inventory management
  • overseeing the hospitality’s financial structure and planning budgets
  • working with Corporate Finance Manager, Owners and team leaders to create budgets and Profit & Loss statements
  • reviewing the financial results and taking corrective measures
  • reporting financials to Owners and stakeholders
  • working with Owners on fiscal and development plans
  • hiring, managing and directing direct reports
  • overseeing their management of their teams
  • working with HR on performance, discipline, leaves and hiring
  • attending meetings to report on budgets, initiatives and company direction
  • transmitting culture, ideas and practices to all staff
  • serving as a role model for professionalism
  • managing direct reports and their teams
  • sharing direction and guidance with employees
  • overseeing contracted onsite contractors or vendors with Property Manager and Owners
