Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years hotel general management experience
- Experience managing full-service bar and restaurant operations
- Vocational education or relevant training in hospitality
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to prepare reports and manage budgets
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to maintain ethical standards and positive employee morale
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years hotel general management experience with bar and restaurant operations
- High school diploma or GED required
- Preferably a two-year business degree or a four-year business or liberal arts degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Occupationally significant combination of vocational education, apprentice training, on-the-job training, and essential experience in hotel management
- Certified Hospitality Administrator designation preferred
Job Duties
- Supervise the operation of the hotel to maximize efficiency and profitability
- Hire, train, and manage qualified staff including department heads
- Maintain high standards of guest room cleanliness and facility maintenance by inspecting rooms regularly
- Participate in and direct internal meetings related to sales, forecasting, quality control, and safety
- Prepare timely reports and analyze strategies to improve hotel performance
- Manage staffing and payroll costs including approval of overtime
- Maintain good working relationships with Food and Beverage department through communication and hands-on participation
- Handle guest relations and community engagement
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and maintain ethical standards
