Job Description

This opportunity is with a McDonald's restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, separate from McDonald's USA. The franchisee owns a license to use McDonald's logos, branding, and food products while maintaining full control over employment decisions such as hiring, firing, staff management, and scheduling. This means that while the restaurant retains the iconic McDonald's experience, the employer is the franchisee who directly oversees the restaurant's operation and employee management.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • previous general manager experience in quick service restaurants preferred
  • ability to lead a high volume restaurant
  • strong customer service focus
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • excellent leadership and team management skills
  • ability to develop and coach staff

Job Qualifications

  • Previous general manager experience in high volume quick service restaurants
  • background in hospitality or retail is desirable
  • strong leadership and coaching skills
  • ability to set and achieve operational goals
  • experience managing multiple teams and departments
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • age 18 or older

Job Duties

  • Run a profitable restaurant that meets McDonald’s quality, service, and cleanliness standards
  • work with leadership to set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
  • lead and coach department managers to set and follow up on departmental goals
  • provide coaching and direction to improve department performance
  • hire and develop department and shift managers
  • maintain high standards for customer service and food quality
  • manage staffing, scheduling, and operational activities to optimize restaurant performance
