Job Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift 50 pounds for up to 10 hours with breaks
- function in a fast-paced and noisy kitchen environment
- tolerance to temperature fluctuations
- ability to work with hot oil and hazardous substances
- read, write, speak, and understand basic English
- clear communication skills
- effective team leadership
- basic computer skills including cash register operation
- good vision including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
- availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and variable schedules
- knowledge of company locations, management, and policies
- adherence to company policies and local, state, and federal laws
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous management experience in the restaurant industry preferred
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to train and develop team members
- knowledge of cash handling and inventory management
- customer service experience
- proficiency with point of sale systems
- problem-solving skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic computer literacy
Job Duties
- Manage profit and loss by following cash control and security procedures
- maintain inventory
- manage labor
- review financial reports and take appropriate actions
- maintain an "A" health inspection rating at all times
- keep Fair Workweek premiums to a minimum
- maintain satisfactory Secret Shopper and Steritech averages
- take customer orders
- maintain fast, accurate service and positive guest relations
- answer customers' questions and provide information on store policies and food preparation
- resolve guest complaints or concerns
- train, supervise, and mentor staff
- hold employees accountable using corrective action
- conduct performance appraisals
- celebrate employee successes
- lead by example
- delegate fairly and appropriately
- encourage employee development
- work as a team member
- follow direction of District Manager
- communicate challenges and successes
- be respectful of all guests, employees, vendors, and supervisors
- take ownership over assigned tasks
- uphold company standards and policies
- master all stations including cashier, grill, fry, table, dressing and lobby
- complete all training and re-training activities
- process cash and credit card payments and refunds according to policy
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- ensure food quality and storage meet standards
- stock and restock stations
- maintain cleanliness and customer accessibility
- attend mandatory meetings
- perform opening and closing duties
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
