Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • minimum five to ten years related experience or training
  • strong leadership and people management skills
  • experience in business development, sales, and commercial negotiation
  • senior management experience
  • preferably airport ground handling environment experience
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to influence and motivate at all levels
  • independence and decisiveness
  • employment authorization to work in USA
  • minimum 18 years of age
  • valid driver’s license
  • proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • ability to pass criminal background and pre-employment drug test
  • availability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, holidays
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Job Duties

  • Fully responsible for the safety and well-being of MA staff
  • promoting a Safety-First culture
  • managing all station operations
  • implementation and adherence to MA Safety, Security, Quality, and Training policies and SOPs
  • ensure compliance with local, state, and Federal regulations
  • lead senior team to maintain and enhance safety, security systems, risk assessments, inspections, audits
  • manage operational training programs, planning, and processes
  • provide immediate and direct feedback to employees
  • deliver safety-related briefings and cascade bulletins
  • participate in station-level budget development
  • ensure proper staffing, planning, and scheduling
  • ensure inventory and accounting of company assets and contracts
  • accountable for financial performance and corporate governance compliance
  • engage with customers and improve service delivery
  • pursue new business opportunities
  • develop and implement emergency response and contingency plans
  • assign responsibility for Safety Management System and security policies
  • ensure compliance with quality and environmental management manuals
  • maintain safe operation of ground support equipment
  • investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions
  • administer workers' compensation program
  • lead and motivate teams
  • review safety and operational performance indicators
  • conduct routine staff meetings
  • complete workplace inspections and manager self-certifications
  • perform performance appraisals
  • establish reward and recognition programs
  • enforce accountability for compliance with work rules and policies
