Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum five years management experience
  • leadership capability with people management skills
  • knowledge of airport ground handling operations preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and decisively
  • valid driver's license
  • legal authorization to work in the USA
  • ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • proficiency in desktop computing applications including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • excellent English language skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • five to ten years related experience and/or training
  • excellent leadership and people management skills
  • experience in business development, sales, and commercial negotiation
  • wide-ranging general management experience with senior management exposure
  • extensive experience in airport ground handling or related environment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to influence and motivate at all levels
  • independence and decisiveness
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
  • employment authorization for USA
  • valid driver's license
  • fluency in English

Job Duties

  • Fully responsible for the safety and well-being of MA staff
  • promoting a Safety-First culture
  • managing all station operations
  • implementing and ensuring adherence to MA Safety, Security, Quality, and Training policies and SOPs
  • leading and collaborating with senior team to enhance safety and security systems, risk assessments, inspections, audits, and operational training
  • providing immediate and direct feedback to employees and colleagues
  • ensuring effective delivery of safety-related briefings and communications
  • participating in station-level budget development
  • ensuring proper staffing, planning, and scheduling
  • managing inventory and accounting for company assets and services
  • accountable for financial performance and corporate governance compliance
  • regularly interacting with customers to promote services and assess satisfaction
  • pursuing business development and growth opportunities
  • implementing various emergency response and continuity plans
  • assigning safety, security, compliance managers and delegates
  • ensuring safe operation and maintenance of equipment
  • investigating accidents and incidents, recommending corrective actions
  • administering Workers’ Compensation program
  • leading and motivating teams to deliver quality and productivity
  • reviewing safety and operational performance indicators
  • conducting weekly staff meetings
  • completing workplace inspections and self-certifications
  • performing performance appraisals and providing feedback
  • establishing reward and recognition programs
  • enforcing compliance with MA policies
