Job Requirements
- MA or MS degree
- Minimum 5 years management experience in food-related or concessions industry
- Concessions Manager Certificate from the National Association of Concessionaires
- Nationally recognized food service sanitation training certification
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to make quick business and operations decisions
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Ability to work well in team-oriented fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of venue concessions operations
- Valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required
- Knowledge of sanitation, food preparation, alcohol policies and safety standards
- Ability to perform basic and complex math
- Accurate cash handling skills
- High integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work independently
- Union environment experience required
- Experience in arena or stadium preferred
- Accounting knowledge preferred
Job Qualifications

- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and courteously with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests
- Ability to make sound business and operations decisions quickly and under pressure
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, POS systems, and timekeeping systems
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Thorough knowledge of concessions and premium services locations and operations
- Valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required
- Knowledge of sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol policies, safety standards relevant to venue operations
- Ability to calculate basic and complex math functions
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Consistently adhere to highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently with little direction
- Experience working in a Union environment
- Experience in fast paced arena or stadium preferred
- Accounting minor or credits preferred
Job Duties
- Ensure legal, efficient, professional and profitable operation of the assigned venue
- Generate and review financial reports, including budgets, projections, forecasting, revenue analysis, disbursements, capital investments, labor and product costs, wage and salary control, P&L financial statements
- Final decision-maker on equipment purchases and leases
- Conflict resolution

- arbitration and labor negotiations when applicable
- Author, review and amend policies and procedures as required
- Author and amend contracts

- Oversee scheduling and labor allocation
- Analyze ticket sales in relation to anticipating staffing needs, target market demographics
- determine and project point-of sale to guest ratio
- Evaluate recent historical sales and purchasing data for identifying purchasing patterns and accurate cost of goods
- Program and maintain the point of sale system to ensure accurate financial reporting, tracking of accountability, and commodity levels by location
- Directs and assists managers in preparing and attaining future goals
- Provides each director or manager with proper direction and follows up on all assignments
- Inspect the operation regularly to ensure established quality standards are maintained
- Prepare required reports accurately and submit on time, follow up with department heads to ensure their reporting is completed within the same guidelines
- Develop an effective management team
- Give managers clear direction and provide necessary assistance for them to perform their work
- Evaluate each manager's performance and recommend improvements
- Review and assist in menu and marketing plan development with appropriate departments
- Establish and maintain relationships with show managers, suppliers, vendors and the public to project the venue positively
- Perform other duties assigned by District General Manager
