Job Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 8 years experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related area
  • OR
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 6 years experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related area
  • General Manager experience in limited or full-service property preferred
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights
  • Property industry work experience demonstrating progressive career growth and exceptional performance

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years management experience in operations, sales, marketing, finance, or related professional area
  • Proven leadership experience managing full-service or limited-service hospitality properties
  • Strong strategic thinking and business planning abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in revenue management and financial analysis
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and foster a positive organizational culture

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute business strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share
  • Align property business plans with Marriott brand business strategies and hold leadership team accountable for successful execution
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to identify new business opportunities and pursue sales leads
  • Create and foster a high-performance executive team, coaching and developing leadership talent
  • Serve as a brand champion by ensuring guest experience aligns with Marriott and JW Marriott values
  • Analyze business data and market conditions to optimize financial performance and operating efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners through proactive communication and transparent reporting
