Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in food and beverage or related fields or 2-year degree with 4 years experience
  • Current California Food Manager Certification
  • TIPS training and RBS certification
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance
  • Compliance with attendance standards and resort policies
  • Ability to handle physical demands including lifting and working in varied temperature conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management or related area OR 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with 4 years experience
  • Current California Food Manager Certification
  • TIPS training and RBS certified through CA ABC program
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of budgetary analysis and financial management
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans

Job Duties

  • Develop and manage food and beverage budgets
  • Monitor department sales and ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded
  • Lead and influence the food and beverage team to achieve performance and budget goals
  • Develop and implement food and beverage operating strategies aligned with brand objectives
  • Provide exceptional customer service and improve guest satisfaction
  • Manage human resource activities including hiring, coaching, and setting performance standards
  • Maintain compliance with food and beverage policies and resort regulations
