Job Requirements
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace
- must be able to read and write to facilitate communication
- good verbal and written communication skills required
- considerable knowledge of complex mathematical calculations and computer accounting programs
- ability to input information accurately using complex computer systems
- ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers using tact and diplomacy
- must function well as a team leader with minimal supervision
- thorough knowledge of employment laws including Title VII, ADEA, Equal Pay Act, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, FLSA, ADA, OSHA, FMLA, and NLRA

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related professional area
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major with 4 years experience
- current California Food Manager Certification
- TIPS training and RBS certified through CA ABC program
- ability to obtain and maintain government required licenses, certificates or permits
- knowledge of customer service principles
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- budget and financial analysis experience
- knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws
- ability to lead and coach teams
- proficiency with computer systems
- effective problem-solving skills
- ability to work with diverse customers and diffuse conflicts
- knowledge of hospitality operational standards.
