Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Hotel/Restaurant or Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Minimum six years of hotel management experience including two years in similar capacity
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the workplace language
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local employment, safety and labor laws
  • Ability to supervise large staff
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills
  • Must maintain neat and professional appearance
  • Regular attendance as per company standards

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Restaurant or Business Administration or equivalent education/experience
  • Minimum six years hotel management experience including two years in a similar role
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong leadership and customer relations skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills including Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system and POS
  • Knowledge of complex mathematical and budgetary analysis
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws and occupational safety regulations
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze data, forecast, and make sound judgments

Job Duties

  • Lead effective management of Rooms, Food & Beverage and Engineering departments to maximize financial performance and guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate and manage hotel operations to achieve profitability and protect assets
  • Develop and monitor annual business and marketing plans
  • Train, motivate, and manage staff to meet quality service standards
  • Set quarterly departmental goals and monitor progress
  • Oversee capital improvement projects to maintain property standards
  • Manage human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and compliance
  • Monitor payroll and expenses against budgets
  • Encourage open communication and teamwork
  • Resolve guest issues and exceed expectations
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory laws such as OSHA
  • Attend operational meetings and promote safe work habits
