Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Hotel/Restaurant or Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum of six years hotel management experience with two years in a similar capacity
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks as described
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and electronic
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office and hospitality-related software
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are essential

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel/Restaurant or Business Administration or equivalent education/experience
  • Minimum of six years hotel management experience with at least two years in a senior managerial role
  • Strong leadership and customer relations skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system and POS
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and safety regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, forecast data, and manage budgets effectively
  • Strong organizational and issue resolution skills

Job Duties

  • Lead the effective management of Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Engineering departments to maximize financial performance and guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate and oversee daily hotel operations to achieve maximum profitability and maintain building standards
  • Direct marketing, business, and yield management plans to maximize room revenue and diversify revenue sources
  • Train, motivate, and manage staff to meet company quality standards and promote team spirit
  • Develop and monitor quarterly departmental goals, conduct staff meetings, and maintain open communication
  • Manage human resources processes including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA and handle guest relations and problem resolution professionally
