Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred in institutional management, dietetics, or equivalent
- minimum five years progressive experience in dietetics or healthcare foodservice management
- 7 to 10 years progressive management experience
- ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, team-oriented culture
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- ability to develop and analyze data collection methodologies
- ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
- strong leadership and delegation skills
- physical ability to work in a well-lighted, well-ventilated area and occasionally exposed to food service conditions such as noise, heat, and humidity
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in institutional management, dietetics, or related field
- certification such as Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) is advantageous
- minimum of five years progressive experience in dietetics or healthcare foodservice management
- 7 to 10 years progressive leadership experience
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- proficiency with computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- ability to analyze data and implement quality improvements
- demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- strong ethical standards and integrity
Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day management of the Food and Nutrition Services department
- develop and implement policies and procedures for expense management and operations
- prepare and manage departmental budgets including profit and loss statements
- lead and supervise staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- coordinate quality improvement programs and customer satisfaction initiatives
- manage menu planning, pricing strategies, and compliance with nutritional standards
- ensure safe working conditions and adherence to regulatory requirements
