Job Requirements
- MA or MS degree or BA or BS with business-related major
- minimum 3-5 years management experience in food-related or concessions industry
- possession of Concessions Manager Certificate
- nationally recognized advanced food service sanitation certification
- excellent communication skills
- ability to make quick business decisions under pressure
- fluency in English
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
- ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- knowledge of concessions locations and operations
- possession of Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required
- knowledge of sanitation, food preparation, alcohol service, and safety standards
- math skills including percentages
- cash handling ability
- high integrity and professionalism
- ability to work independently
- experience in a Union environment
- preferred experience in stadium or ballpark food service
- preferred accounting education credits
Job Qualifications

- Concessions Manager Certificate from National Association of Concessionaires
- nationally recognized advanced food service sanitation training certification
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests
- ability to make sound business and operational decisions quickly under pressure
- proficiency in spoken, written, and reading English
- solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, POS systems, and timekeeping systems
- ability to work effectively in team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environments
- thorough knowledge of concessions and premium services locations
- possession of valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required
- thorough knowledge of sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service policies, safety standards related to Oak View Group venue operations
- ability to calculate complex math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages
- ability to handle cash responsibly and accurately
- adherence to highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- experience working in a Union environment
- preferred experience in fast-paced ballpark or stadium settings
- accounting minor or credits preferred
Job Duties
- Ensure legal, efficient, professional and profitable operation of the assigned venue
- generate and review financial reports including budgets, projections, forecasting, revenue analysis, disbursements, capital investments, labor and product costs, wage and salary control, P&L financial statements
- final decision-maker on equipment purchases and leases
- conflict resolution including mediation, arbitration and labor negotiations when applicable
- author, review and amend policies and procedures as required
- author and amend contracts and authorize terms
- oversee scheduling and labor allocation
- analyze ticket sales in relation to staffing needs and market demographics
- evaluate sales and purchasing data to identify purchasing patterns and cost of goods
- program and maintain point of sale system for financial reporting and accountability
- direct and assist managers in preparing and attaining future goals
- provide managers with direction and follow up on assignments
- inspect operation regularly to ensure quality standards are maintained
- prepare and submit required reports on time and ensure department heads comply
- develop effective management team and evaluate manager performance
- review and assist in menu and marketing plan development
- establish and maintain relationships with show managers, suppliers, vendors and the public to promote the venue positively
