Job Requirements
- MA or MS degree or BA or BS degree with a business-related major
- minimum 5 years management experience in food-related or concessions industry
- possession of Concessions Manager Certificate from the National Association of Concessionaires
- advanced food service sanitation training course certification
- communication skills to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders
- ability to make sound operational decisions under pressure
- proficiency in English
- computer literacy including Microsoft Office, POS and timekeeping systems
- teamwork capability in high-pressure event environments
- knowledge of concessions operations and locations
- valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required
- knowledge of sanitation, food preparation, alcohol policies, and safety standards
- math skills for financial calculations
- cash handling skill
- strong ethical and professional standards
- self-directed work approach
- stadium or ballpark environment experience preferred

- thorough knowledge of all concessions and premium service locations
- valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required
- thorough knowledge of sanitation, food preparation, alcohol service policies, safety standards relevant to venue operations
- ability to calculate basic and complex math functions
- ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- consistent adherence to highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality
- ability to work independently with little direction
- preferred experience in fast paced ball park or stadium environment
Job Duties
- Ensure legal, efficient, professional and profitable operation of the assigned venue
- generate and review financial reports including budgets, projections, forecasting, revenue analysis, disbursements, capital investments, labor and product costs, wage and salary control, P&L financial statements
- final decision-maker on equipment purchases and leases
- conflict resolution including last-resort mediation, arbitration and labor negotiations when applicable
- author, review and amend policies and procedures as required
- author and amend contracts and authorize terms
- oversee scheduling and labor allocation
- analyze ticket sales in relation to staffing needs, target market demographics and project point-of-sale to guest ratio
- evaluate sales and purchasing data for purchasing patterns and cost accuracy
- program and maintain point of sale system for accurate financial reporting and tracking
- direct and assist managers in preparing and attaining goals
- provide managers with direction and follow up on assignments
- inspect operation regularly to ensure quality standards
- prepare and submit reports on time and ensure department heads comply
- develop an effective management team
- give managers clear direction and necessary assistance
- evaluate manager performance and recommend improvements
- review and assist in menu and marketing plan development
- establish and maintain relationships with show managers, suppliers, vendors and the public
