Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the hotel industry
  • General Manager experience preferred
  • Ability to interact with others in an honest, fair, and respectful manner
  • Proven track record of meeting budgets, understanding P&L statements, and cost controls
  • Sales and revenue management experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and hotel brand systems

Job Duties

  • Generate maximum financial and operational performance within company direction and established policies and procedures
  • Develop and nurture a team of management and line staff directed towards achieving hotel goals and priorities
  • Fully implement and utilize integrated goal planning and performance appraisal processes
  • Provide first-rate hospitality to every guest
  • Lead the hotel in an entrepreneurial fashion focusing on opportunities to build and expand business volume
  • Ensure compliance with HR, safety, security, and risk management standards
  • Hold leadership teams accountable for fostering associate engagement, overseeing training, managing performance, and driving succession planning
  • Actively manage guest recovery scores and online reputation
  • Maintain and support the organization's professional image and high ethics
