Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 5-7 years related experience
  • Valid California driver’s license
  • Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Occasional travel required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5-7 years related experience
  • Business and financial acumen with ability to read and interpret financial statements
  • Industry certifications preferred such as CPM or Real Estate License
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • Multilingual ability a plus
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to travel occasionally

Job Duties

  • Creates a customer service focused culture for residents, prospects, vendors and employees
  • Responds and resolves resident requests and concerns
  • Leads by example and ensures a proactive approach for all key customer touch points
  • Provides leadership to onsite leadership team to ensure goals and expectations are achieved
  • Responsible for training, onboarding, and development of all team members with focus on employee engagement and retention
  • Leads, coaches and develops direct reports to create a culture of excellence and continuous learning
  • Manages financial performance of property including accountability for budget variances, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Creates and executes community strategy
  • Oversees all property operations including leasing, maintenance and resident services
  • Ensures the condition and quality of communities meet company standards
  • Monitors and evaluates key metrics such as renewals, leasing goals, Net Promoter Scores, social media feedback
  • Performs audits and community inspections for policy and compliance adherence
  • Partners with Apartment Development on reinvestment projects
  • Fosters healthy collaboration and partnership with other departments and divisions
