Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- 5-7 years related experience
- Valid California driver’s license
- Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Occasional travel required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5-7 years related experience
- Business and financial acumen with ability to read and interpret financial statements
- Industry certifications preferred such as CPM or Real Estate License
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Multilingual ability a plus
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel occasionally
Job Duties
- Creates a customer service focused culture for residents, prospects, vendors and employees
- Responds and resolves resident requests and concerns
- Leads by example and ensures a proactive approach for all key customer touch points
- Provides leadership to onsite leadership team to ensure goals and expectations are achieved
- Responsible for training, onboarding, and development of all team members with focus on employee engagement and retention
- Leads, coaches and develops direct reports to create a culture of excellence and continuous learning
- Manages financial performance of property including accountability for budget variances, budgeting, and forecasting
- Creates and executes community strategy
- Oversees all property operations including leasing, maintenance and resident services
- Ensures the condition and quality of communities meet company standards
- Monitors and evaluates key metrics such as renewals, leasing goals, Net Promoter Scores, social media feedback
- Performs audits and community inspections for policy and compliance adherence
- Partners with Apartment Development on reinvestment projects
- Fosters healthy collaboration and partnership with other departments and divisions
