Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management or related business field preferred
  • minimum 3 years' experience in rooms and/or food and beverage functions
  • strong business communication skills verbal and written
  • strong presentation skills
  • knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
  • high work ethic and self-initiative
  • strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite
  • some travel may be required
  • regular attendance
  • proven record of commitment and professionalism in a 24/7 operation
  • professional image
  • basic computational ability
  • focus and maintain attention to tasks

Job Duties

  • Practice a culture of guest service in all you do
  • promote courtesy, goodwill and a positive attitude in each and every encounter
  • anticipate guest needs and respond promptly
  • acknowledge all guests, maintaining positive guest relations
  • resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
  • coordinate special programs, functions and incentives to improve guest service
  • work cooperatively with fellow associates
  • effectively lead the executive committee to reach the goals of the property
  • develop and assure achievement of hotel revenues and profits utilizing forecasting, P&L management, RevPAR
  • ensure property compliance in all departments
  • grow the business year over year
  • ensure product quality to allow future bookings and maximize revenue
  • coach and develop leaders to exceed performance expectations
