Job Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university or 4-year bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Relevant experience in hospitality operations, guest services, or sales
  • Proven management experience in hotel or property leadership
  • Ability to lead and develop teams effectively
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of brand standards and compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with hospitality management software and e-tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Willingness to work full-time in New Orleans location

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 4 years experience
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 2 years experience
  • Experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, or management operations
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Proven ability to manage hotel operations including food and beverage
  • Financial acumen and ability to analyze performance data
  • Effective sales and marketing strategy development skills
  • Human resources management experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Project management and operational excellence capabilities

Job Duties

  • Ensure service programs are in place and executed
  • Provide real-time feedback on service and operational standards
  • Manage labor flow to support budget and profitability
  • Create clear lines of responsibility for management team
  • Prepare for quality assurance audits
  • Review and follow up on guest satisfaction scores
  • Act as project manager for capital improvements
  • Walk property to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards
  • Manage implementation of brand standards
  • Delegate operational responsibilities appropriately
  • Monitor food and beverage forecasting and par levels
  • Establish and leverage vendor relationships
  • Ensure bar and kitchen quality and organization
  • Conduct compliance audits with back of house associates
  • Provide coaching on operations and technology
  • Implement sales strategy with Regional Sales office
  • Work with Market Sales on goals and action plans
  • Identify and champion marketing solutions
  • Manage key account relationships and sales reviews
  • Develop new revenue streams through amenities
  • Prospect for new business opportunities
  • Utilize e-tools for sales
  • Coach associate selling strategies
  • Manage on-property controllable costs
  • Analyze and communicate property performance data
  • Update and communicate profit forecasts
  • Initiate action for revenue and profitability goals
  • Manage relationships with revenue management office
  • Review and use revenue management reports
  • Lead human resources activities and associate development
  • Conduct performance reviews and support recruitment
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships and prepare reports
  • Participate in owner and business reviews
  • Manage email and correspondence
  • Participate in calls regarding sales and property performance
