Job Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of management experience including profit and loss management
  • Availability to work 45-50 hours per week including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to drive and manage workplace change
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and point of sale software
  • Comfortable working in front of house and back of house roles
  • Valid driver’s license and current insurance including comprehensive and collision coverage
  • Ability to move 50 lbs and be on feet for extended periods
  • Basic math and financial understanding
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as required
  • Professional image and demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of management experience including profit and loss management
  • Strong written, verbal, and team management skills
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, restaurant, or veterinary management preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and point of sale software
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
  • Ability to influence workplace change
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle with insurance
  • Animal lover with community engagement interest
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
  • Bilingual skills a plus

Job Duties

  • Understand and communicate company mission, values, and objectives
  • Provide leadership and direction for all site operations including financial management, customer service, pet care, and team management
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Drive achievement of quantitative goals including sales revenue, labor, cost of goods sold, and expense management
  • Communicate operational concerns and needs to Market and Regional Leaders
  • Maintain operational excellence and compliance with company policies
  • Recognize and reward team performance
  • Analyze financial data and KPIs to optimize resort performance
  • Develop resort leads' understanding of financial reports
  • Execute corporate and local marketing plans
  • Engage with community and cultivate relationships to generate leads
  • Train team on effective lead capture and sales techniques
  • Manage selection, development, and performance of resort team
  • Oversee on-boarding and training processes
  • Coach and counsel team members and leaders
  • Ensure consistent enforcement of personnel policies and manage team performance
  • Recruit and maintain qualified team pipeline
  • Foster positive culture and team engagement
  • Strive for exceptional customer service experiences
  • Maintain shift coverage while adhering to scheduling and labor guidelines
  • Train management teams on service issue resolution
  • Motivate team to engage customers proactively
  • Adhere to all operational, safety, and company policies
  • Maintain resort cleanliness and inventory
  • Lead shifts as Manager on Duty
  • Execute daily audits and ensure compliance across departments
