Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Three to five years supervisory or management experience in restaurant business
  • Food Safety Manager certification required
  • Strong computer and POS system proficiency
  • Ability to work a minimum of 60 hours per week during business demand
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Advanced math skills including payroll and accounting
  • Thorough knowledge of labor laws, OSHA and EEOC regulations
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to handle high stress and solve problems efficiently
  • Willingness to travel locally and nationally for franchise training

Job Qualifications

  • Three to five years supervisory or management experience in the restaurant industry
  • Demonstrated success in financial management and people development
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EEOC regulations and food safety procedures
  • Proficient computer and POS skills including Word, Excel and various software platforms
  • Ability to perform all service roles in the restaurant
  • Food Safety Manager certification required
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication
  • Advanced math and accounting skills including payroll and cost controls
  • Proven problem-solving skills and stress management
  • Ability to interpret financial statements
  • Effective English communication

Job Duties

  • Develops and implements creative sales-building strategies with Corporate Office
  • Assists in annual preparation of sales, expense and capital budgets
  • Meets or exceeds budgeted sales
  • Maximizes profits by controlling expenses
  • Identifies and addresses labor efficiency problems
  • Monitors management and employee schedules
  • Assists restaurant leaders with sales growth opportunities
  • Executes financial results and budget accountability
  • Ensures restaurants meet operations and quality standards
  • Conducts frequent restaurant visitations and reporting
  • Develops action plans to remedy issues
  • Maintains store image and team uniform standards
  • Enforces compliance with brand standards and policies
  • Creates and manages staff schedules
  • Provides coverage as needed
  • Coordinates with culinary, bar leaders and corporate on menu and catering
  • Responds promptly to customer issues
  • Monitors employee and guest satisfaction
  • Guides AGM and staff to meet company values
  • Promotes corporate citizenship and community partnerships
  • Completes franchise training certification and supports local and national franchise initiatives
  • Oversees staffing, training, retention and turnover
  • Collaborates with HR on staffing forecasts and development plans
  • Conducts interviews and exit processes with management
  • Provides training on operations, new products and policy changes
  • Identifies and resolves operational problems
  • Develops future leaders through training and promotions
  • Conducts performance reviews and coaching
  • Handles employee relations and performance documentation
  • Ensures compliance with cash control, safety and audits
  • Completes financial reports, payroll processing and expense management timely
  • Maintains communication with leadership and staff
