Job Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as General Manager or in a similar role in a restaurant setting

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a General Manager or similar role in a restaurant setting

Job Duties

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of restaurant staff including chefs, servers, kitchen staff, and support personnel
  • foster a positive work culture by providing guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance and individual growth
  • conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and provide feedback
  • oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring compliance with company policies, hygiene standards, and health regulations
  • develop and implement efficient operational procedures to enhance productivity and guest satisfaction
  • monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to prevent shortages or wastage
  • maintain a high standard of customer service to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business
  • address guest complaints and concerns promptly demonstrating a commitment to resolving issues and exceeding customer expectations
  • implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience including menu improvements, special promotions, and customer engagement initiatives
  • develop and manage budgets including revenue projections, cost control measures, and profit margins
  • analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to maximize profitability
  • collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to budgetary constraints
  • collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies, advertising campaigns, and social media initiatives
  • implement upselling techniques and other sales initiatives to increase revenue
  • ensure consistent food and service quality by regularly reviewing and refining operational processes
  • conduct regular inspections of the kitchen, dining area, and service areas to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health standards
  • implement and enforce quality control measures to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • stay abreast of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to food safety, labor laws, and licensing requirements
  • ensure the restaurant's compliance with all relevant regulations and work with Human Resources when necessary
