Job Requirements

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
  • valid driver’s license for travel between units
  • satisfactory background check
  • ability to meet physical demands of the position
  • successful completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program.

Job Duties

  • Create, implement and execute the overall business staff plan
  • ensure proper staffing levels are maintained by each Department Manager to build sales
  • prepare the manager schedule according to company guidelines
  • oversee human resource management ensuring 100 percent compliance with laws and policies
  • communicate employee benefits to all staff
  • provide performance feedback and recognition to all managers and team members
  • hold managers and team members accountable for contributing to company objectives
  • maintain an open door policy for effective communication
  • provide direction for performance management
  • train and develop managers and managers in training
  • create, deliver and follow up on individual development and performance improvement plans
  • conduct weekly manager meetings with written agendas
  • model and ensure effective pre-shift meetings
  • ensure effective communication among all staff
  • build positive and professional relationships to promote morale
  • implement recognition and reward programs
  • maintain turnover and retention targets
  • ensure managers and team members are guest-focused with consistent hospitality
  • respond to guest feedback constructively and timely
  • empower staff to handle guest comments

  • conduct business review meetings
  • meet or exceed profit goals
  • coach managers on departmental financial responsibilities
  • grow sales through guest experience

  • utilize financial tools and control systems
  • complete and teach business reviews
  • manage restaurant repairs and maintenance
