Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
  • Experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred
  • Completion of high school education or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position
  • Successful completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership to ensure team members are guest-focused, team-focused, and community-connected
  • Manage restaurant operations including staff resources, training, and coaching of Assistant General Manager, Department Managers, Restaurant Support Managers, and Hourly Team Members
  • Ensure overall integrity of the Buffalo Wild Wings brand
  • Create and implement staffing plans, maintain proper staffing levels
  • Prepare manager schedules according to guidelines
  • Oversee human resource management ensuring compliance with laws and policies
  • Communicate employee benefits effectively
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback and recognition
  • Hold team members accountable for company objectives
  • Facilitate open communication and consistent standards
  • Train and develop managers and Team Members
  • Conduct weekly manager meetings with written agendas
  • Model effective pre-shift meetings and build camaraderie
  • Ensure all managers hold effective pre-shift meetings
  • Build positive, professional relationships with managers and team members
  • Recognize and reward superior performance
  • Maintain turnover and retention targets
  • Exhibit exemplary leadership behaviors
  • Ensure guest service excellence including 100% manager table visits
