Job Requirements
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable
- Eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to sit for long periods, type, and look at a computer screen
- Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings

Job Qualifications
- Completion of a four year college degree in a relevant field is desirable or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
- Experience in business administration, logistics, transportation, or related field preferred
- At least 5 years of experience managing fixed route or paratransit bus operations of similar size and scope
- Knowledge of relevant federal and state employment laws
- Thorough knowledge of transit system regulations and operations
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ability to manage cost control and financial budget
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of technology, apps, Wi-Fi, and transportation technology
- Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent presentation skills
- Ability to organize and perform work efficiently with attention to detail
- Ability to navigate labor relations issues and work effectively with union partners including grievances and negotiations
Job Duties
- Continuously build relationships with employees, clients, union partners, and local community
- Set commercial and operational strategic direction for the business unit
- Lead management team and workforce to achieve safety goals, service performance, and financial objectives
- Identify and develop business growth opportunities
- Optimize return on assets including vehicle scheduling and maintenance
- Analyze KPIs to maintain positive results
- Ensure services are provided within budget and improve operational efficiency
- Deliver the business unit budget
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and corporate safety standards
- Oversee staff management and assign development training
- Ensure effective environmental compliance and sustainability management
- Provide data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Perform other duties as required
