Broadway in Tucson is a prestigious performing arts organization based in Tucson, Arizona, operating under the national Nederlander Producing Company of America. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years performing arts management experience
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Proven financial management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Familiarity with Ticketmaster/Archtics and Netsuite is preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in performing arts management or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in performing arts management preferably with touring Broadway shows, concerts, or special events
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Proven track record in managing financial operations and maximizing revenue
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster community and partner relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with Ticketmaster/Archtics, Netsuite, and media campaigns is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Conduct and supervise accounting including payroll approval, budget tracking, invoicing, and performance reports
  • Manage and supervise marketing and ticketing operations, including ad plan creation and ticket pricing
  • Advise and coordinate with the Vice President of Programming on Broadway event scheduling and booking
  • Act as the primary HR representative managing staff compliance and union contracts
  • Negotiate and maintain show, union, vendor, and consultant contracts
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with the University of Arizona, Arizona Arts Live, Arts Express, and other community partners
  • Seek ancillary income through sponsorships and coordinate local high school musical theatre competitions and educational programs
