Job Requirements
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance
- move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders
- reach overhead and below the knees, repetitive movements, and other movements including bending, twisting, pulling/pushing, and stooping, grasping, and crawling to complete some tasks
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a restaurant manager
- at least 3 years experience in nightlife operations
- at least 5 years of experience in customer relations or service management
- knowledge of food and cocktail pairings
- strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- good financial and business acumen
- critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- good time-management skills
- great interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- strong experience working with MICROS
Job Duties
- Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operations
- deliver superior guest services
- coordinate with BOH and Director of F&B to curate new menu items or menus for hotel functions
- coordinate with marketing, sales, and events departments to plan and execute flawless events
- respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints
- organize and supervise shifts
- assist with interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
- manage restaurant supplies and inventory
- control costs and minimize waste
- nurture a positive working environment, but deliver formal coaching if/when necessary
- implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sale
