Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in golf, service, or hospitality industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Effectively builds strong relationships, leads and develops a team

Job Duties

  • Lead and direct all golf course departments including golf operations, food and beverage, sales, merchandising, and agronomy
  • Ensure all departments achieve goals and maintain strong working relationships
  • Partner with Corporate Revenue, Sales, and Marketing teams to create and execute programming, marketing plans, sales and pricing strategies
  • Develop and execute short term and long term operational and financial plans for the club
  • Select, develop, lead, and retain talented staff
  • Ensure compliance with national programs such as Players Club, Core Beverage Program, Menu Program, Approved Product List and Beverage Cartender program
  • Monitor daily and weekly financial forecasts and results, adjusting as needed to meet targets
  • Ensure proper financial controls are in place and followed to track revenues, payroll, inventories, and expenses
  • Provide excellent guest service and respond to guest and member feedback appropriately
  • Ensure golf course compliance with federal, state, and local laws
