Job Duties

  • Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure
  • Maintaining statistical and financial records
  • Setting and achieving sales and profit targets
  • Recruiting, training, and monitoring staff
  • Planning work schedules for individuals and teams
  • Appropriately responding to and resolving guest concerns
  • Addressing problems and troubleshooting
  • Ensuring events and conferences run smoothly
  • Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings for hotel asset preservation
  • Maintaining relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Ensuring a safe and secure environment for all guests and associates
  • Maintaining appropriate property inspections per organization and brand standards
  • Ensuring the property meets brand guidelines and service standards
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other regulatory requirements
  • Performing various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
