Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a restaurant management position
  • Knowledge of health safety and labor regulations
  • Ability to work all assigned shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid food handler and TABC certification or ability to obtain
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Reliable transportation to work locations

Job Duties

  • Promote work and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Big City Wings
  • Effectively delegate work manage timelines and meet deadlines
  • Ensure that all restaurant policies procedures standards specifications guidelines and training programs are followed and completed on time
  • Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation serving and building maintenance
  • Achieve company objectives in sales service quality appearance of facility and sanitation through employee training and positive work environment
  • Monitor food preparation methods portion sizes and garnishing to ensure accepted food presentation
  • Ensure compliance with federal state county and municipal regulations on health safety alcohol sales and labor
  • Control cash and other receipts adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures
  • Count money and make bank deposits
  • Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality service or accommodations
  • Coordinate cooking personnel assignments for economical food use and timely preparation
  • Ensure product receipt in correct count and condition following receiving policies
  • Review financial statements sales or activity reports to measure productivity or identify improvement areas
  • Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries verifying product quality and quantity
  • Monitor budgets and payroll and review financial transactions for authorization and budgeting
  • Maintain food and equipment inventories and keep inventory records
  • Schedule staff hours and assign duties
  • Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service
  • Perform some food preparation or service tasks when necessary
  • Keep records required by government agencies on sanitation or food subsidies
  • Organize and direct worker training programs resolve personnel problems and evaluate employee performance
  • Administer prompt and consistent corrective action for policy violations
  • Order and purchase supplies
  • Review work procedures and operational problems to improve service safety or performance
  • Assess staffing needs and recruit staff
  • Arrange for equipment maintenance repairs and coordinate services like waste removal and pest control
  • Track number type and cost of items sold to monitor profitability
  • Create the best game day atmosphere
  • Attend management meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
  • Coordinate with and assist employees to meet guest needs and support operations
  • Fill in for employees to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
  • Communicate with team and upper management via email text group message or verbally
  • Handle food handler TABC and paperwork submission and maintenance
  • Move tables chairs and highchairs to accommodate guests
  • Carry trays from kitchen window to front counter dining room or parking lot as needed
  • Refill ice bins beverages clean restrooms bus tables and other restaurant functions
  • Must be able to work standing up to 10 hours
  • Must be able to reach bend stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
