Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- previous supervisory and hospitality industry experience preferred
- proven restaurant management experience
- ability to withstand work conditions in temperatures of 0?F or less and up to 100?F
- physical ability to move throughout the restaurant for extended periods
- capability to move 50 lbs for a distance of up to 10 feet
- ability to balance and move up to 25 lbs for distances of up to 50 feet
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- college coursework or degree preferred
- previous supervisory and hospitality industry experience preferred
- proven track record of success as a restaurant manager
- experience with POS systems
- proficiency in computer use including email, spreadsheets and document preparation
- strong service orientation skills
- effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks
- excellent oral, written and listening communication skills
- leadership and team development experience
Job Duties
- Build teams by identifying, recruiting and hiring the best in the available talent pool
- utilize good performance management strategies to retain talent
- Coach, develop and motivate the shops Team Members by following the Capriottis training standards
- prepare team schedules with a focus on operational excellence and cost management without sacrificing Guest satisfaction and team morale
- role model the standards and maintain the culture for delivering CAPtivating Service to Guests
- monitor compliance with health, safety and building relations regarding food preparation, serving, and building maintenance
- prepare all products according to Capriottis specifications, using the correct portion, quality and product presentation controls
- maintain the integrity of Capriottis recipes to ensure a consistent Guest experience at any Capriottis location
- be responsible for cash management and bank deposits
- monitor budgets, cost of goods sold, labor, payroll records and all other financial transactions related to the shop
- promote an environment of salesmanship by encouraging a culture for suggestive-selling and an orientation towards counter service versus cashier mindsets at the register
- utilize effective purchasing, inventory, receiving and waste-monitoring procedures
- actively participate and promote all brand-wide and local marketing initiatives
- utilize effective communication skills to foster positive relationships with Team Members, Guests, vendors and other members of the Capriottis brand
- establish an environment of trust within the shop including Team Members, Guests, vendors and others
- demonstrate emotional resilience under pressure and during changing priorities
- analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution for problem-solving
