Job Requirements

  • 5+ years restaurant experience
  • 2+ years in a restaurant leadership role such as general manager or assistant general manager
  • direct experience with scheduling, payroll, and managing labor targets
  • demonstrated success in hiring, training, and developing teams
  • full availability on weekends and evenings
  • capacity to work 45-50 hours weekly
  • ability to remain on feet for 8+ hours daily

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years restaurant experience
  • 2+ years in a restaurant leadership role such as general manager or assistant general manager
  • experience with scheduling, payroll, and managing a labor target
  • proven track record of hiring, training, and developing restaurant teams
  • full availability including weekends and evenings
  • ability to work 45-50 hours per week
  • comfortable standing for 8+ hours per day
  • experience running a counter-service or quick-service concept is a plus
  • experience partnering closely with kitchen leadership is a plus
  • background at an independent (non-chain) restaurant is a plus
  • experience opening or scaling a concept is a plus

Job Duties

  • spend most of your time on the floor during service - register, expo, counter, leading the team by example
  • handle scheduling, labor cost, and payroll management
  • hire, train, and develop the restaurant team
  • manage guest feedback and continuously improve the guest experience
  • maintain high hospitality standards and train staff accordingly
  • build and maintain a positive team culture focused on performance and retention
  • make daily operational decisions and own outcomes
