Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience in the restaurant industry
  • Ability to speak, read and write English fluently
  • Strong math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions and percentages
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit and use hands for extended periods
  • Good vision including close, distance, peripheral and depth perception
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to handle moderate physical demands
  • Must comply with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience managing a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Ability to train and develop employees
  • Good knowledge of inventory management and food safety
  • Proficient in computer skills such as Excel and Word
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to perform multitasking and work under pressure

Job Duties

  • Manage a staff of 3 Assistant Managers and approximately 30 to 50 employees
  • Assign, oversee and evaluate work for compliance
  • Manage hiring, training, evaluating, discipline and termination of employees
  • Provide on-the-job training for new employees
  • Delegate and manage ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all food, labor, equipment and supplies
  • Assist in food preparation, sales and service
  • Forecast food consumption and supervise food preparation and service operations
  • Assist in customer service during rush periods
  • Supervise delivery routing and drivers
  • Complete daily food preparations and ensure systems and procedures integrity
  • Complete daily, weekly and periodic paperwork accurately
  • Control inventory and maintain regular ordering schedules
  • Conduct weekly manager meetings
  • Audit systems and shift-end paperwork
  • Perform preventative maintenance on store equipment
  • Manage cash drawers and deposits
