Job Requirements

  • Must be able to manage a team of assistant managers and employees exceeding 50 labor hours weekly
  • Ability to assign, oversee and evaluate employee work
  • Experience in hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining and terminating employees
  • Capable of providing on the job training
  • Able to handle ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of supplies
  • Skilled in supervising food preparation and service
  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong math abilities in addition, subtraction, fractions and percentages
  • Understand use of personal computer software such as Excel and Word
  • Able to meet physical demands of standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other related physical tasks
  • Must maintain systems and procedures with 100 percent integrity
  • Capable of managing cash drawers and deposits
  • Must conduct weekly manager meetings and audits
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance on equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in restaurant or food service management
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient in basic math skills including fractions and percentages
  • Familiarity with computer software such as Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of inventory and cash handling procedures
  • Ability to enforce safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Manage a staff of assistant managers and employees exceeding 50 labor hours weekly
  • Assign, oversee and evaluate work for compliance
  • Manage hiring, training, evaluating, discipline and termination of employees
  • Provide on the job training for new employees
  • Delegate and oversee ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all supplies to minimize loss
  • Assist in supervision, preparation, sales and service of food
  • Forecast food items and supervise food preparation and service operations during shifts
  • Assist in customer service including greeting, taking orders, and assembling orders
  • Ensure every customer receives world class service
  • Route deliveries and supervise drivers to maximize delivery efficiency
  • Complete daily food preparations and opening procedures
  • Execute systems and procedures with 100 percent integrity
  • Complete daily, weekly and period paperwork accurately
  • Control inventory and maintain regular inventory ordering schedules
  • Conduct weekly manager meetings
  • Audit systems, procedures and shift ending paperwork
  • Complete preventative maintenance and upkeep of equipment and supplies
  • Manage cash drawers and deposits during shifts
  • Perform other related duties as required
