Job Requirements
- must be a U.S. citizen
- able to pass an extensive background check
- experience in restaurant or cafeteria operations including customer service, cash handling, HR responsibilities, financial reporting, marketing and promotions
- knowledge of culinary processes including inventory control, ordering, recipe compliance and HACCP
- financial acumen with knowledge of food cost, labor controls and P&L
- ability to manage and hold employees accountable
- previous retail operations experience
Job Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- five years of management experience
- five years of functional experience in restaurant or cafeteria operations
- detailed knowledge of culinary processes including inventory control, ordering, recipe compliance, and HACCP
- strong financial acumen with expert level knowledge of food cost, labor controls, and P&L
- ability to manage standards and systems in café or retail operations
- previous retail operations experience and a passion for quality food service
Job Duties
- have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product
- achieve company and client financial targets and goals to include oversight of cash-handling and the POS system
- develop and maintain client and customer relationships
- motivate, coach, mentor and develop front-line (hourly) staff
- ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs
