Job Requirements

  • must be a U.S. citizen
  • able to pass an extensive background check
  • experience in restaurant or cafeteria operations including customer service, cash handling, HR responsibilities, financial reporting, marketing and promotions
  • knowledge of culinary processes including inventory control, ordering, recipe compliance and HACCP
  • financial acumen with knowledge of food cost, labor controls and P&L
  • ability to manage and hold employees accountable
  • previous retail operations experience

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • five years of management experience
  • five years of functional experience in restaurant or cafeteria operations
  • detailed knowledge of culinary processes including inventory control, ordering, recipe compliance, and HACCP
  • strong financial acumen with expert level knowledge of food cost, labor controls, and P&L
  • ability to manage standards and systems in café or retail operations
  • previous retail operations experience and a passion for quality food service

Job Duties

  • have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals to include oversight of cash-handling and the POS system
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships
  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop front-line (hourly) staff
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs
