Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by an independently operated McDonald's franchise restaurant. This franchisee is licensed to use McDonald's branding, logos, and food products under the McDonald's USA system, but it functions as a distinct and separate business entity. The franchisee independently oversees all employment-related activities such as hiring, firing, supervision, discipline, scheduling, and staffing. This means that any applicants or employees will have a direct employment relationship with the franchisee, not McDonald's USA. Consequently, McDonald's USA does not have any control over the restaurant's operational employment matters nor does it review employment applications or participate in hiring decisions.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 18 years of age
  • proven experience managing fast-paced restaurant operations
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • availability to work flexible hours
  • commitment to upholding company quality and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • previous general manager experience
  • experience in high volume quick service restaurants
  • background in hospitality or retail preferred
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal ability
  • ability to set goals and coach team members
  • age 18 or older

Job Duties

  • run a profitable restaurant
  • ensure the restaurant meets McDonald’s standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
  • set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
  • lead and coach Department Managers to improve their performance
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
  • manage staffing, scheduling, and supervision
  • oversee daily restaurant operations
