Job Requirements

  • Work a flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Available to close store at least once per week
  • Attend corporate business meetings and conferences including overnight travel
  • Maintain valid identification for airline travel
  • Frequent use of computer and office devices
  • Capability for continuous mobility and physical activity such as bending, pushing, reaching, twisting, lifting up to 25 lbs, and walking throughout shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant experience
  • Proven success in financial management including sales growth, payroll budgeting, and expense control
  • Experience in retail management including inventory monitoring, operational excellence, service culture, and merchandising
  • Leadership skills with ability to attract, develop, and motivate talent
  • Strong adaptability and ability to lead change
  • Proficiency with Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and Apple devices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and exercise good judgment in ambiguous situations

Job Duties

  • Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed retail and service sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and retail shrink goals
  • Drive company profitability through operational excellence, sales growth, and expense control
  • Leverage store forecast and payroll budgets to maximize productivity and achieve goals
  • Address financial and operational issues through reporting and audits to meet store targets
  • Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to enhance guest experience
  • Stay informed about industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests
  • Maintain attendance and hold store associates accountable
  • Attract, hire, and retain diverse top talent and manage staffing needs
  • Address policy violations and take corrective action in partnership with management
  • Build an engaged, inclusive team through collaboration and open communication
  • Lead manager and associate development via training, coaching, reviews, and succession planning
  • Ensure ongoing professional development and sales training participation
  • Communicate enterprise strategies and align team goals with store objectives
  • Foster teamwork by working alongside management and setting priorities
  • Execute Guest Engagement Leader program to enhance business results
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Enforce dress code and utilize scheduling tools for optimal staffing
  • Manage task execution and ensure leadership compliance
  • Protect assets by adhering to safety, inventory control, cash management, and loss prevention standards
  • Conduct inventory control processes and theft reporting
  • Promote continuous improvement through company initiatives and technology adoption
  • Communicate business trends and operational challenges with field leadership
