Job Requirements
- prior management experience in a similar organization
- college graduate with a two or four year degree in hotel/restaurant management, business or associated field
- leadership abilities as evaluated by current AD/DO and hourly associates
- ability to manage restaurant environment and associate performance
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- physical ability to stand and be mobile for up to ten hours
- ability to carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- college graduate with a two or four year degree in hotel/restaurant management, business or associated field
- prior management experience in a similar organization
- demonstrated leadership abilities and business acumen
- achieved status of AGM or prior unit general manager experience
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- proficiency with restaurant management technology
- ability to coach and develop teams
- understanding of food and beverage operations
- knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
Job Duties
- ensures prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines
- builds a culture using the vision/mission statement to guide teamwork, results, integrity, passion for service, fun, balance, innovation and being guest driven
- ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints by self and staff
- refers all verbal and written guest complaints to AD/DO
- ensures guest contact as a priority with self and staff utilizing a target goal of 100% table visitation
- teaches and enforces alcohol awareness
- builds positive relationships with local authorities on alcohol-related issues
- maintains adequate inventory levels
- ensures product preparation and presentation meeting company standards
- actively participates in community to increase sales and brand awareness
- implements and executes incentive contests and educates associates on promotions and new menu offerings
- effectively oversees and schedules associates to meet sales demands
- maintains effective safety and security programs
- promotes and manages restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation
- institutes preventative maintenance of equipment and building
- advises AD/DO of any non-routine situations
- communicates with other managers daily through management log and shift change meetings
- completes all other assigned duties and responsibilities
