Job Requirements
- Work a flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Available to close the store at least once per week
- Attend corporate meetings and conferences with possible overnight and interstate travel
- Maintain valid identification for airline travel
- Frequent use of computers and related office supplies
- Continuous mobility with frequent bending, pushing, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Continuous walking and manipulation of objects during shifts
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant experience
- Proven success in financial management including driving sales and managing budgets
- Demonstrated retail management skills including inventory, service culture, and merchandising
- Strong leadership experience with talent development and team motivation
- Proficient with Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to react under pressure and adapt to change
Job Duties
- Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and retail shrink goals
- Drive company profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control
- Leverage store forecast and payroll budgets to support scheduling needs
- Address issues from financial and operational reporting to achieve store goals
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
- Stay informed regarding industry trends and products
- Maintain prompt attendance and hold associates accountable
- Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team
- Address policy violations fairly and according to procedures
- Build a highly engaged and collaborative team
- Create an inclusive environment that fosters growth and engagement
- Lead manager and associate development including training and coaching
- Participate and ensure participation in ongoing training and brand education
- Model open communication and align goals with company strategy
- Promote teamwork through clear direction and priority setting
- Execute the Guest Engagement Leader program effectively
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Enforce dress code adherence
- Use scheduling and task management tools effectively
- Protect company assets and minimize loss including inventory control and cash management
- Manage day-to-day inventory processes and theft reporting
- Support continuous improvement and adoption of company initiatives and technology
- Communicate feedback regularly to field leadership on business trends and challenges
