Job Duties
- Plan and manage prep for bagels, schmears, and menu items
- Build and maintain daily and weekly prep lists
- Ensure the shop and kitchen are stocked and organized
- Coordinate production leading into busy weekends
- Maintain a clean and efficient commissary kitchen
- Assist with future wholesale and production growth
- Run expo and coordinate the team during service when needed
- Step into service positions during busy periods and to run breaks
- Ensure food quality and service standards are maintained
- Manage ordering for commissary and shop ingredients
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels
- Communicate shortages or supply issues early
- Meet with the team regularly
- Train team members on systems and kitchen organization
- Maintain a positive, supportive team environment
