Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Retired military E8-E9 or O4-O6 preferred
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Zero tolerance drug free employer including pre-employment and random screening
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree preferred
- Retired military E8-E9 or O4-O6 preferred
- Proven track record of business development and business control management
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with senior level executives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment
- High integrity and excellent critical thinking skills
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills, including in person, phone, and radio communications
Job Duties
- Full profit and loss responsibilities for the FBO
- Provide strong leadership and support to functional reports
- Improve the profitability of the business by championing and implementing operational excellence techniques, continuous improvement of processes, and verification metrics
- Business growth and development
- Live, promote, and hold others accountable for the Million Air standards
- Ensure department managers and other personnel have the resources including staff capacity, technology and training they need to achieve their goals
- Foster a teamwork oriented, high performance culture that is customer focused
- Contract review and negotiation, including but not limited to hangar leases, city leases, fuel supply, equipment and vendor contracts
- FBO budget preparation, variance reporting and performance consistent with the goals of the company
- Develop and assure necessary controls and procedures for business success, legal compliance and delivering Million Air's product
- Strong recruiting skills, high affinity for assuring job certification and clear communication
