Job Requirements

- prior experience in hospitality or hotel management
- excellent communication skills
- ability to lead and motivate staff
- knowledge of revenue management and cost control
- ability to handle guest complaints professionally
- must comply with certification requirements when applicable

Job Duties

- enforce policies, procedures, and all applicable laws
- collaborate with Revenue Manager and Director of Sales to review rates and events
- conduct required sales calls and participate in community affairs
- conduct regular staff meetings and ensure timely completion of training
- work to achieve budgeted revenues and expenses
- maintain inventory and achieve cost controls
- understand financial information including budgets and audits
- process invoices and manage accounts receivable
- take action on safety or loss prevention incidents
- ensure cleanliness and maintenance of property
- ensure compliance with brand standards and timely maintenance
- ensure hotel is professionally staffed
- conduct employee performance reviews on time
- perform other assigned duties
