Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality or hotel management
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to lead and motivate staff
  • knowledge of revenue management and cost control
  • ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • must comply with certification requirements when applicable
  • availability to work flexible hours
  • proficiency in financial record keeping
  • commitment to safety and security policies

Job Duties

  • collaborate with Revenue Manager and Director of Sales to review rates and events
  • conduct required sales calls and participate in community affairs
  • conduct regular staff meetings and ensure timely completion of training
  • work to achieve budgeted revenues and expenses
  • maintain inventory and achieve cost controls
  • understand financial information including budgets and audits
  • process invoices and manage accounts receivable
  • take action on safety or loss prevention incidents
  • ensure cleanliness and maintenance of property
  • ensure compliance with brand standards and timely maintenance
  • ensure hotel is professionally staffed
  • conduct employee performance reviews on time
  • perform other assigned duties
