Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to stand or remain stationary for long periods
  • Must be able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, and move throughout the hotel
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Must be able to operate computers, telephones, and office equipment
  • Must be willing to travel as required
  • Must be able to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
  • Must be able to work varied schedules including holidays
  • Must be physically capable of performing essential job functions
  • Must have legal authorization to work
  • Must be able to follow company policies and safety rules

  • Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol at select properties
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Basic knowledge of local market
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industry, including Rooms and Food & Beverage departments preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure a proper welcome
  • Work collectively to contribute to high guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle guest recovery with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Understand and utilize relevant technology for role
  • Answer incoming calls with friendly, approved greeting
  • Keep all workspaces spotless and well-organized
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests with hospitality while cleaning
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time
  • Prepare accurate shift handover reports for effective communication
  • Wear clean, approved uniform with nametag and smile
  • Maintain clear, honest, and professional communication among team members
  • Display a can-do attitude by stretching beyond traditional roles
  • Collaborate to create a welcoming guest environment and positive workplace
  • Conduct daily supervision walks inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and equipment
  • Onboard new team members according to established checklists
  • Ensure daily summary and night audits are completed correctly
  • Sign off and upload daily reports to the MCR report platform
  • Enforce brand quality assurance standards through self-audits and corrective actions
  • Require adherence to dress code and uniform standards
  • Certify fire and life safety inspections are current and deficiencies fixed
  • Confirm completion and quality of preventive maintenance tasks
  • Ensure team members adhere to scheduled shifts and adjust for absences
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and safety
  • Provide training for required functional expertise
  • Communicate growth opportunities and career paths
  • Deliver timely, constructive coaching feedback
  • Review previous day's time clock entries following policy
  • Process all purchases through approved order systems
  • Handle invoice processing and accruals timely
  • Manage inventory storage cleanliness and program compliance
