Job Duties
- Check products to ensure consistency, palatability, and quality
- Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, and accommodations
- Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, verifying product quality and quantity
- Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, garnishing, and presentation to meet company standards
- Schedule staff hours using appropriate systems and assign duties ensuring efficient food use and timely preparation
- Review work procedures and operational issues to enhance service, performance, or safety
- Perform food preparation or service tasks as needed
- Maintain food and equipment inventories
- Organize and direct employee training programs, resolve personnel issues, hire new staff, and evaluate performance
- Arrange equipment maintenance and repairs and coordinate related services
- Utilize point of sale systems for cash management including bank deposits
- Adhere to opening and closing procedures and maintain records
