Job Description

Job Requirements
- At least 3 years restaurant management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or hotel/restaurant management preferred
- Serve Safe Food Certification a plus
- Ability to maintain physical requirements including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Steady, stable employment track record

Job Duties
- Demonstrates sustainable long-term success and maintains a profitable business
- Ensures prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines and achieves established objectives on customer feedback reports
- Directs overall activities and performance of employees on a shift-by-shift basis
- Creates an employer of choice environment by encouraging a culture in accordance with Flynn Panera values and beliefs
- Ensures immediate response and rectification of all guest complaints
- Maintains adequate inventory levels and adjusts par levels as needed
- Oversees and schedules employees effectively to meet sales demands
- Maintains safety and security programs according to company policy and government standards
- Promotes and leads restaurant cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with health department standards
- Performs routine maintenance and advises Area Director of needed repairs
- Communicates with other managers through daily logs and meetings
- Ensures quality recruitment and training of management candidates
- Develops employees through consistent feedback and performance reviews
- Controls costs by managing profit and loss statements
- Completes all other assigned duties and responsibilities
