Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and lift 50 to 75 pounds comfortably
  • Able to work in close quarters and around heat
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent organization and leadership capabilities
  • Current ServSafe Certification
  • Reliable transportation, driver’s license, and proof of insurance
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Current high school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience as assistant general manager or general manager
  • Certified in all stations and management positions via DHC Training Program
  • Current ServSafe Certification
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team and management
  • Strong organizational, planning, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and variable shifts

Job Duties

  • Lead and coordinate everyday restaurant operations
  • Build and support a cohesive management team
  • Ensure all team members meet job responsibilities and performance expectations
  • Execute and follow-up on the restaurant’s business plan
  • Train new skills, duties, and responsibilities through DHC Training Program
  • Conduct operational checks and correct areas of opportunity
  • Organize team member shift schedules and monitor attendance
  • Oversee food preparation and adherence to safety and sanitary standards
  • Maintain daily restaurant cleanliness and sanitation
  • Address and resolve guest complaints professionally
  • Enforce uniform and appearance policies
  • Provide supervision and feedback to maintain productivity and morale
  • Implement cash handling policies and procedures
  • Hire, train, schedule, and manage teams
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, and maintenance
  • Develop strategies for workplace efficiency and sales growth
  • Complete daily administrative duties and paperwork
  • Open and close the restaurant per company policy
  • Promote open communication and a positive work environment
  • Adhere to food and cash control guidelines and cost control measures
