Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in landscaping or related industry preferred
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Capable of working independently within a franchise structure
  • Valid driver's license

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in budget management
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L and cash flow
  • Excellent client management and communication skills
  • Experience recruiting and training employees
  • Demonstrated ability to boost employee morale
  • Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA
  • Familiarity with hazard communication and safety compliance programs

Job Duties

  • Responsible for all budgets including labor, material, and administration
  • Manage account receivables
  • Review monthly financial reports and understand profit and loss statements
  • Understand and monitor cash flow
  • Establish and maintain a Client Contact Log
  • Maintain client survey program
  • Act as the primary client contact person
  • Establish maintenance and enhancement budgets with clients
  • Participate in local client-driven activities
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies
  • Perform supervisory training for key employees
  • Coordinate and communicate between field staff and office
  • Responsible for crew morale and develop morale boosting initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all safety programs
  • Act as or supervise Branch Safety Officer
  • Monitor local, state, and federal safety laws including OSHA
  • Manage the HazCom program and MSDS sheets for shop and vehicles
