Unlike corporate-owned McDonald’s locations, this franchisee operates as a separate business entity licensed to use McDonald’s trademarks, logos, and food products. Therefore, the franchisee is the actual employer responsible for all employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older
- proven ability to manage a team
- strong customer service orientation
- knowledge of restaurant operations
- ability to meet and maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- capable of setting and achieving business goals
- adaptable to fast-paced work environments
Job Qualifications
- previous general manager experience
- experience managing high volume locations
- background in quick service restaurants preferred
- experience in hospitality or retail is beneficial
- strong leadership and team development skills
- excellent communication and organizational abilities
Job Duties
- run a profitable restaurant
- ensure the restaurant meets McDonald’s quality, service, and cleanliness standards
- work with leadership to set and achieve restaurant goals
- lead and develop a team of Department Managers
- coach and provide direction to improve department performance
- hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
- oversee staffing and scheduling to maintain operational excellence
